Kuliah Privacy Policy

Our Commitment

Kuliah, located in Bahrain, respects your privacy and takes great care with your personal information. This policy is governed by the laws of Bahrain and Bahrain’s General Data Protection Regulation.

Collection & Use of Data

We collect data directly from you and automatically (via logs, cookies, and third-party tools) to deliver and improve Kuliah services. This includes registration details, profile information, course progress, and technical data.

Personally Identifying Information (PII)

Email, profile details, and any content you voluntarily make public (posts, reviews, photos) are collected. Public content grants Kuliah a non-exclusive license to use it. “Learner of the Day/Month” features may display your name and achievements for marketing.

Third-Party Services

We use secure cloud providers, payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal), and analytics tools (Google, Facebook, Hotjar). These partners have their own privacy policies and may set cookies over which we have no control.

Your Rights & Control

You can access, edit, or delete your data anytime via your account. Deleting your account removes all PII (remaining data is irreversibly anonymised). You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Children’s Privacy

Users under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA) may not register without parental supervision. We delete such accounts upon discovery.

Security

We use encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews. In case of a breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and relevant authorities promptly.
